I'd like to check out the better parts someday. Only went through in passing (straight to Key West mmm) and I wasn't impressed with what I saw, but I know that isn't necessarily representative of the city itself. Not a retard.
Now, Los Angeles... that's another story...
Of course it's what I meant. A lot of dangerous people were given amnesty for the sole reason that they made it to America. Bad idea. Crime skyrocketed in Miami during that time period. It wasn't anti-Cubano or anti-Miami (not a fan of the city, but I've also only driven through the crap parts)...
I believe it was Carter letting many many Cubans who reached the USA acheive citizenship. Problem was, it was a mass evolution resulting in many dangerous people becoming citizens. Not all Cuban refugees are good people.
You're an idiot. Engage the brain and listen.
Border control isn't because we don't want MEXICANS entering the country illegally, it's because we don't want uncontrolled immigration. Do YOU know how many of the illegal aliens crossing the border are criminals in Mexico? How many of them are...
Treat it like any other flight. If you go into it calm and collected thinking "eh, just another day" it helps. At least it helped me when I did my NATOPS instrument check.
That and use the cruise sock tonight.
Enforcing existing laws is something our country is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE at doing. I agree, enforcing current laws would help... a lot. The problem is, our country thinks it is better to make new laws, which oh by the way are already covered by existing laws. Kinda like gun laws...
Hmm I thought it was the standard 150%. I could be wrong, been a while since I did civil stuff. I remember the Cessna 172 being like 3.52 Gs G-limit... why you're doing 3.52Gs in a C-172, I'm not sure.
Amen. Nothing like doing a job the leadership doesn't actually want you to do. Show me a politician with power that actually will say "patrol and secure the borders". They won't, they'll "lose the Hispanic vote".
Others would disagree. Versatile means it would be good at many different tasks. A heavy, long battle rifle is hardly that.
(Not slamming battle rifles at all, just pointing out that they are not big multi-taskers)
Coffee sippers... don't trust em. I have a whole whopping 2 years of Naval aviation experience and tower has tried to kill me more than a handful of times.
Yes, please do. You're a mishap waiting to happen if you do it by yourself with no instruction.
And a break in a Cessna 152 will be absolutely pointless, it won't be a break, it'll be a turn to downwind. But, have at it if you want, no harm in it.
SIG P226 9mm. First firearm and pistol I've owned. Love it. I have a .45, .40, .357 magnum, etc, but my P226 9mm is my go-to gun because I'm so comfy with it and I have ABSOLUTE faith in it. I'm a SIG guy.
Doubtful. Can't intercept something too well when they're flying just as fast or faster than you. I would assume (I could be wrong, helo bubbas let me know) that a helo is more of a close (point) intercept tool, not anything of range.
When two men get together that previously were trying so hard to kill each other and can now talk as friends, I think that shows a lot about human decency.
Don't believe the Marines. It's a pistol, firearm, etc until employed as a weapon. They're brainwashed into calling everything a weapon.
Good deal, very popular pistol. Never shot one, but there are LOTS of lovers of them on this site.
Except you dont start in C-12s, and even if you did, youve already done formation, low levels, aerobatics, etc. More than most straight-civilian pilots can claim, especially the formation side of things.
Bragging to a non-pilot about flying a Learjet... good to go. Bragging to a military pilot...
