The Beretta was chosen because it was slightly less expensive. When Berettas started blowing up in SEAL's faces for using +P+ ammo, they switched to SIG. I don't think being made out of country was a problem. SIG has a factory is Exeter, NH. Not sure when it was built.

What is your favorite personal defense load?

This is very true. If it doesn't go bang every time, it's not worth much. What I meant by best (and part of it is subjective) is that no-sh!t street records the Ranger-T is one of the top performers. So are the other high quality rounds. In all reality, the top rounds have very little...

What is your favorite personal defense load?

Yeah, always the problem with premium ammo. I get my Ranger-T for about $18/50 rounds... not bad compared to some of the other out there... and Ranger-T IS the best.

Questions about getting into Naval Aviation

NROTC guy here, flying Rhinos now. NROTC will not hurt anything, they get just as many pilot slots as the USNA. I personally think (and I'm biased) that NROTC is the best deal going... pay for all 4 years of college with a semi-normal college lifestyle, vice the USNA (not normal... at all). You...

    Quick to punch out?

You can still control an aircraft that's in a stall... just gotta do it carefully :) A stall is not a departure. If you're falling out of the sky, 0 airspeed, and your controls are doing nothing... I'd call that "out of control". The aircraft may be ballistic heading downhill, in which you're...

My understanding, and mind you it is heresay, is that the IP determined that the stud was slumped over the controls and if they ejected, the stud would have most certainly been killed. How the stud was slumped over, I don't know... kinda hard to do.

Question of the day on court tv

There is a term for that... "Sheeple". They will believe anything someone tells them. Fear of the unknown and fear from miseducation. Ever notice the people that gun down schools typically did not receive any real firearms instruction?
  49. Fly Navy

Question of the day on court tv

You don't understand the issue fully then. They don't want people to be exposed to guns or have training. That means they are educated and that means they most likely realize that an inanimate object such as a gun can NOT hurt you unless a human is behind the trigger. Believe it or not, this...
