I was a Marine Candidate and got picked up for SNA. Therefore, I had already completed a flight physical. My OR is trying to submit that in lieu of a MEPS physical. Anyone know if that will work or will I still need to do MEPS regardless?

From what I understand based on my OSO and OSA, Your score is a check in the box. Either you pass it or you don't. If so, then you run a PFT (which is very important to the Marine Corps) and complete the package and flight physical. So, yes, it's a pass/fail thing.

There's an entire thread here on why there are no OCC-air slots. Packet will be LOR's, PFT, SF86 form, Application Form (about 6-8 pages of stuff), etc... It will take a while to put together.

Do a search. Everything you have asked is answered elsewhere. Look in the Marines section. -No PFT until you are ready to contract. -You can tell him you want an air contract, but if you are an OCC candidate you aren't getting one. There are no OCC-Air slots until FY12. Go to MarineOCS.com...

There are no air contracts to be had right now. MAYBE for OCC205 but you're gonna have to run 285 or better PFT for that class. BTW, there are two rather large threads here about this very thing. Use the SEARCH function. It's there to be your friend.

Just keep in mind that most of the people here have been waiting much longer than you. One more month for you is nothing compared to those of us who have had multiple air contracts canceled, boards canceled, packages screwed up, etc... so keep that lid on and don't lose your cool.
