Whoops, I didn't mention that. Yes, I did have communication with my OR and even asked him about it. He said ideally they want you to swear within 14 days, but its not a big deal if it's after. I think if you can't swear in over a month later, it might be an issue.

Nothing really, I swore in around 20 days after I got my FS.

Well, I hope they just gave away just your OCS date and didn't take away your pilot/nfo slot. Be grateful for that at least. This means there might, no matter how small, be a chance you'll be place in an earlier, if not, another month of home cooked meals. :)

Definitely didn't know about API different standards, thanks for letting me know! I should be around 13 minutes going into OCS, so once I finish that, I should be good to go for API. Just have to keep up my endurance and fitness level during the wait to be classed up.

I got my FS on the 5th of this month, still haven't sworn in or done any paperwork yet. I won't be able to swear in until next week since my OR was on vacation last week and is unavailable this week. There's no close deadlines are there?

Yikes, no, I'm not age critical. Remember, there were around 120, plus the excess people from December board and age critical from May's board, that needed to be assign a class. I think it's just a bad draw of the cards, but theres a really good chance you might be in the September 21 class.

FS came in this morning. I am officially locked in for the August 31st class. Board date was in March, going in as a SNA.

@Tycho_Brohe , not asking you to reveal the surprises at OCS, but during Welcome Abroad, is it still the same as outpost, and is the physical activities all day or just that morning?

Medical issues and athletic ability are the main reasons from what I've read.

I would take the estimation with a grain of salt. A good number of us from the previous boards are already given class dates, but still lack a FS. If rumors are true, a good chunk of FS should be coming out within the next couple weeks, but I think you getting one this week is unlikely.

In the booklet, regarding leadership traits, it's actually 15, not 14. Then again, I may be wrong. It's JJ DID TIE BUCKLE H. The 15th is Honor. Also, saw a previous post, that there is now 13 people in the CoC, and not 15. Assistant Operations and CO of OTC is no more, but a Course Supervisor...

Apparently the guide book was last revised on 06/10, I'm assuming June 2010. So I'm pretty sure some minor things are out of date.
