Mulate's in New Orleans is a must eat. I was there for the Football Nat'l Championship Game and ate there numerous times. It is right across the street from the convention center.

Here are my thoughts... As said numerous times, they look at the whole person concept. Your GPA is a little low, your ASTB scores are okay and your work experience is excellent. There have been people picked up with a GPA lower than yours, ASTB lower than yours, work experience worse than...

Just be genuine! You must have a good reason for wanting to join the services, so just tell them what it is. Ponder to yourself why you want to put yourself through all the paperwork and OCS to join up. Then sit down and just write away!

I believe the first part is for transfer credits. Title I used the course description; for instance Biology 113: TITLE Introduction to Biology. Another example; Physics 111: TITLE Newtonian Mechanics, etc...Hope this helps!

I'm thinking it is because a lot of Reagan era build-up pilots are hitting their 20 years and retiring, leaving a lot of spots to be filled.

They are going to be for fy09, but that is going to be here before you know it.

Just remember that even though there are more people applying, there will be more spots opening up as discussed in a previous thread. I think the numbers for pilot were going from ~130 to 250 for the whole year. Just something to think about.

The FAA Private exam does not include balloon, glider, or helo, unless you are trying to get one of those ratings.

I have heard that you must have 3, but no more than 5 (I am applying SNA, so I do not know if it is the same for Intel). Get as many as you can, then let your recruiter go through and pick the "best" five. They will know what to do.

The package must be to the processing station by the first of the month. That means your recruiter should have everything at least a week before that so they can review and send the paperwork. I ran into the same problem for the April board, which is why I am now applying in May. Good Luck!
