I lived in a house for primary/intermediates and lived in the Q in Corpus for advanced (all my roommates selected helos). It was nice being 2 min from work, but NAVY 24/7 isn't worth it. Take your BAH and get nice little getaway, thats what its for.

I knew a guy in Primary with such a strong accent they had to find an on-wing who spoke the same language. He was so hard to understand he was eventually attrited. Didn't help that he had a really sh!tty attitude and felt it was everyone elese's job to accomodate him.

Posting my patches would remove the semblance of anonynmity I have here. They look like the old school WWII leather patches, but with your squadron's current logos. Hand painted on tan leather. The best way to get them is to have as many people in your squadron as you can do it as well...

2000 hours in how many years? most guys finish their first fleet tour with around 1400-1500 hours total, and thats after roughly 5 yrs of flying (Fam 1 through last fleet squadron flight).
