Plenty of people (specifically from SoCal) did not take their cars in my class and they just stashed their crap in someone else's car. Just coordinate beforehand and hope they don't DOR on you.

The rumor has been floating around but my recruiter confirmed that OCS is now 11 weeks. I don't think that really changes much as far as preparation goes, but a nice FYI I suppose.

Our class is meeting up around Bowen's Wharf or along the harbor. I haven't been to Newport in years, but from what I remember and what others have told me that section of town is cool. Check this map out, it'll help. Downtown is pretty small, so you can walk wherever you need to go.

That is very true, at least just from the sake of time management. In the practice exams I took and timed myself that had the BI included, I would just barely finish in time. Maybe it wasn't how the real BI was administered, but I found that the time per question was by far the smallest.
