I’ve been doing HIIT workouts for years now, but my endurance always drops when I’m not doing them, so I started last week to get back into it, hopefully it’s enough time haha. But to supplement that I’m also going to start running to improve my time. Pushups and curlups I’d like to improve more but I can’t seem to find a method that works. If anyone has helpful tips that’d be much appreciated. I used to be able to do 60 pushups easily but now I struggle with 50
I used this website, it helped get me from like 35 to 60 in a few weeks. https://www.navy-prt.com/navy-prt-training-plans/pushup-training-plan/

How is everyone’s training going for OCS? I’m super happy with my 1.5 miles I can hit it in 9:20, but can seem to shave off that last minute. Any suggestions? My pushups I can do 55 in two minutes easy anything after that is a struggle, and an easy 60 sit-ups. Just started planking so it’s trash currently...

I was doing really good with pushups but I’ve injured my shoulder curl ups are good and I think I can run a 1.5 in 9.5-10.5 determining the day haha

Honestly what helped me the most was trying to hit 1.5 mile as fast as possible. After I hit that I still run but at a slower pace. The distance running has really help in prove my 1.5 mile time. Also I am persistent, usually run a minimum of 3 miles a day now, the max I have done is 12 miles in one day. Usually average about 5 miles a day. Takes me about 40-50 mins to complete. Highly recommend some Nike Pegasus turbos. Best trainers I have ever had, got them for 90 bucks at the Nike outlets.

Most actual running shoe stores do it. I went to Point 2 running in Newport News VA. Try googling running shoe stores in your area you’ll probably find something.
How much did you pay? Might have to skip on the alpha fly next% next week, and get a pair custom fitted.
