Hey wassup single club. I have 2 cats and a snake. I like to do puzzles.
Puzzles are my jam. I like snowboarding, and been getting into running. Has anyone tried those Nike running shoes that they wanted to ban from competition? Looking to get a pair of the upgraded version that drops next week! Got one pup named Guapo. He is an Australian/border collie mix. What’s your animals names, and what kind of snake?

Not looking forward to planks at all. I can kill some sit-ups and push ups but static exercises are my least favorite.
How is everyone’s training going for OCS? I’m super happy with my 1.5 miles I can hit it in 9:20, but can seem to shave off that last minute. Any suggestions? My pushups I can do 55 in two minutes easy anything after that is a struggle, and an easy 60 sit-ups. Just started planking so it’s trash currently...

I have Walter and Wiley. They're both 15lb big black cats. And I have a worm for a snake. He's a Kenyan Sand Boa named Unken after the Unkenreflex.

I workout 6-7 days a week at the gym and haven’t really incorporated anything for OCS to be honest. I’ve tried pushups like once a week the last few months to see where I’m at and can hit 60-70 nonstop and 80 in the 2 min. I’m sure I could do more if I made it “life or death”.

I do abs a couple days a week at the gym but haven’t been doing normal curl ups, I do weighted on a decline with the medicine ball so it’s harder. Planks I suck at right now and going to actually incorporate that.

Also going to start running since I haven’t at all. I used to run daily for years when I was younger and learned to hate it lol.

Mine is going alright with a newborn haha some mornings I dont workout. I havent timed my 1.5 yet but when I run 3.5 miles I usually do it in 27 minutes. Something that can help with getting your run time down would be doing sprint workouts with intervals. Sprints help alot! I can do 69 pushups in 2 minutes is the most I got and situps I got 58.

As far as running... break 1.5 miles into 6 sprints (0.25 each) and run those with a target pace then do 30 second break in between them. Repeat that couple days then make it 3 sprints 0.5 each and do that workout couple times. After that you should be able to keep your pace 1.5 miles easily

I can do 60 curl ups and 60 pushups, as well as a 10:30 mile and a half. I’ve never been a big gym guy, but I should be able to increase those numbers over the next three or four months.
Yeah haven’t really done any gym, until starting to prepare for OCS. Honestly really like running at least three miles everyday now.

I’ve been doing HIIT workouts for years now, but my endurance always drops when I’m not doing them, so I started last week to get back into it, hopefully it’s enough time haha. But to supplement that I’m also going to start running to improve my time. Pushups and curlups I’d like to improve more but I can’t seem to find a method that works. If anyone has helpful tips that’d be much appreciated. I used to be able to do 60 pushups easily but now I struggle with 50

Yeah I feel like that’s the most important part. Passing the ist will be easy, but Mekong sure the legs can handle like 15-20 miles a week is more important/difficult. At least that’s my perception
