Unfortunately, no. Still waiting on my OR to provide me with an officer who can swear me in. Going to try and get in contact with him later today to try and squeeze something in before the holidays.
You can really get this sorted yourself sir. Any officer from any branch of service should suffice. Hell, just go to the VA, might find someone there that can spare you a few minutes...

Yes, I read up on that last evening and put a call into the local recruiting station to see if they have any officers stationed there or knew of any within the area. Awaiting for their call back. Silly question, but does the officer have to be active? My uncle is a retired US Army CAPT and I will be seeing him over Thanksgiving.

Dude, just drive over to the local or regional recruiting office and get it done. It literally took me 5 minutes when I got sworn in. I just had to make sure the person was there.

(b) Who May Administer.—The oath may be taken before the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary of Defense, any commissioned officer, or any other person designated under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Defense.

(Aug. 10, 1956, ch. 1041, 70A Stat. 17, §501; Pub. L. 87–751, §1, Oct. 5, 1962, 76 Stat. 748; renumbered §502, Pub. L. 90–235, §2(a)(1)(A), Jan. 2, 1968, 81 Stat. 753; Pub. L. 101–189, div. A, title VI, §653(a)(1), Nov. 29, 1989, 103 Stat. 1462; Pub. L. 109–364, div. A, title V, §595(a), Oct. 17, 2006, 120 Stat. 2235.)

My recruiter (and processor) actually said that as soon as the paperwork comes in, they will want to swear me in immediately. I would assume others would have the same motivation. The processor that did my fingerprints said he knows that "they" want me to get in and trained this FY19. I would assume that is the case for all of us 17SEP DCO selects

That's the plan, just waiting to hear if there is an officer available to swear me in. There's an Army Reserve base that I might go to later today if the recruiting station doesn't work out.

Thank you all for your help! I think my OR took this week off.

Just realized....kind of hard to take the Oath when you don't have the proper paperwork to be signed....still waiting on my OR to send it over

For those of you who are further along in the process than I...when you received your final selection letter, did the subject line read “WELCOME ABOARD” and outline your new unit and identify the CO/XO?

I received a letter last week, but I am attempting to determine if this is my actual final select letter or something else.

TIA

Swore in yesterday- what's the general timeline from swearing in to being "gained" by the local NOSC?

It will take some time for the paperwork to all be sorted out and ultimately get to your command. I assume as part of your Army Reserve status, you're in DEERS and have a CAC and all that. I assume you'll need to get a new CAC though? If so, make sure to bring your COMDOCs, as it may save you some trouble.

What you could do is call up your local NOSC about every week and ask for the manpower department to check if you've been gained yet. Eventually, you should be emailed by the NOSC that you've been gained and regarding your INDOC weekend, but it's better to be proactive. In fact, they only emailed me because once I was in DEERS, I left a message the next time I called them up (because my NOSC never answers the phone in my experience), telling them it's ENS <Gulpin' Sculpin> asking if he's been gained by the NOSC.

A few weeks ago I received a "Welcome" email that outlined my new unit along with POCs. FINSEL came later that day which looks pretty official. Did the oath bit and life insurance paperwork. My unit told me to expect to drill in January (provided potential dates too). I guess take some trips, visit some friends and finally or whatever while you have every weekend available to yourself.

I swore in last Wednesday and spoke to my CO Wednesday night. He said that I am already going through the "gaining process" and should hear something from my NOSC very soon.

How is everyone else doing? Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
