Just looking for opinions here... Do you guys/ gals think that being active duty, having a decent GPA and a pilots license will offset my OAR for SNA? I hear guys talking about retaking it however, folks have told me on numerous occasions not to worry about it since I am active duty and i have decent pilot scores.... thoughts anyone?? needless to say but i will still be on the OCT board.. just wanted to see what others thought.. Thanks.

I know dude... I feel like I have been waiting a lifetime. Spoke to my OR last week. Looks like FY15 #'s came out so that is a plus.... hopefully we are both on the home stretch as far as waiting for PROREC Y/N. I fully understand being active duty that we are only waiting.....to wait again haha.. I will feel 100x better once i find out if PROREC..

Like NOPO has said FY15 numbers won't come out until near the end of the year, everything trickles down so if the government has signed the budget for FY 15 there won't be numbers, until that is signed NRC always estimates goals based on the previous year, then adjust when they are given OCS goals.

Opinions are just that... opinions, and they will vary. I think your OAR which is slightly below average, will be somewhat offset by the solid Aeronautics GPA.:)

Not much weight is nomally given to the PPL or GA flight time, however; 900 hrs. is unusually high and should be an "eye-catcher" at board. Give it a shot at the next board. If no go, pump up your OAR/ASTB on a retake and resubmit.;)

I have decided to retest to pull up my OAR. I am not AD and I don't think my GPA, flight certs. or time helped me enough at the last board. Just my thoughts.

We usually get official FY numbers around January. I never really bother to look at them.

Well I should officially be joining this wait tomorrow. My application is complete and will be sent in tomorrow. I am patient and don't mind waiting until October. This wait will not be nearly as bad as when I had to wait for STA-21. Did anybody here make Chief today?
