It seems like next week is definitely more probable, I'm hoping Monday. We might hear earlier because our skipper is heading to pensacola for something else but if he's there he'll check in on it, still shittin bricks

Waiting to hear as well. we we're expecting sometime closer to the end of the month, but if we only have to wait till the end of next week that would be amazing. It's a weird feeling being this close to service assignment after these past 3 years!

What school or area of the country are you in? I bet there is a delay due to the mailtime. Makes you think why they don't also just send an email out to all the units!

From GA so hopefully we'll hear early here, but I honestly didn't even realize they sent them by mail. I thought all mids found out at the same time.

Seniors and those interested,

The word from OD is that service assignment will be out in about 10 days to 2weeks. We might hear something by the end of next week.

Ship selection for Dec. grads will not happen until after assignment is released.

When did they move up service selection results in ROTC? My senior year (fall 2007) I heard a couple days before Christmas.

The past few years they've heard mid-late October, when I was a freshman, fall 2009, they heard october 16th, not sure when it transitioned up though

Yes, please do. It just seems weird that the ODU CO called Pensacola Monday morning and got news directly from them that it would be 10 days to 2 weeks, but yours is hearing something different.

Yea that is strange, the CO over here just contacted me directly and said they come out today. I don't know if its because we are only 3 hours away from Pensacola or what but I'll find out in a couple of hours
