Man... This all seems like such a novelty to you guys. I sure hope this "institutional inertia" I've read about within the VP community doesn't suck all the fun outta flying this new toy. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous. The Mighty War Swan is starting to show her age.

We'll find a way to make it suck, don't you worry, have faith!

She is a pretty plane though, no doubt.

So the unicorn officially has a working shitter? Those of us about to play on it are still in the dark on that. It will be nice to be able to sit to pee, and I definitely plan on taking a dump, just because I can.

You ought to take one in the mighty Warpig, just so you can say you did.

<<<< over 4000 shitfree P-3 hours. Bought many a case of beer for my crews but never for taking a dump.

I just went over the 1000 hours shit free mark. DH wouldn't let me put that as a fitrep bullet.

Then you are left with no choice. When you walk into the Skipper's office to debrief said fitrep, take a stand. Do the right thing.

Hey, it's factual, you can submit it. Might even win you points at the DH board.

That argument is still around? We settled it this way in both my squadrons: if the length of the flight required 3 pilots and 2 FEs, than the bunks were reserved for them. If the flight time was less, they were first come first served among the entire crew. The pilots and FEs would complain that "by NATOPS, they're for us" yet they could never find that written in the manuals. Of course I was a crew holding MC since the day I first became a TACCO so I just told the pilots and FEs to fuck off and did as I pleased when they started whinning.

Maybe its a shift in community mentality but I've never met a self respecting NFO who so much as wanted to sleep in the rack.
