Do you have numbers for FY 2012? It may not have been just four officers, but it was tiny as was relayed to me by both enlisted and officers. Suffice it to say, they didn't have any room for me when I was looking to redesignate.
Pretty sure total numbers are low 30's for FY12.

OCS for FY 12 was 2. I have the rest of my numbers on my desk at work.

Interesting. Both of those guys were in the class behind me. Small world; and they were pretty cool dudes.

How many of those are LDO or CWO accessions? I know the SEAL and SWCC bubbas push a lot of guys through LDO/CWO school. I'm curious if EOD does the same.

Those numbers are 1140/1190 only.

In FY12 EOD picked up 4 LDOs and 1 CWO. In FY13 8 LDOs were picked up, and no CWOs due to the merging of EOD CWO/LDO.

Interesting stuff. So is the community still expanding, and are URL officers being put in charge of mobile diving and salvage units, or is that still an LDO thing?

Also, how many of the URL accessions were due to lateral transfers?

It looks like they have to have applied for EOD prior to acceptance since you have to have a certain NEC.
You only need the NEC to go STA-21 EOD. From STA-21 CORE you can service select ANY URL (assuming you are PQ) just like the midshipen. I doubt that you can tell from your data whether an NROTC EOD select was STA-21 or Scholarship or College Program...can you?
