Man, you guys really do sound like O's already, with all this arguing over words instead of the actual underlying substance. Haha. If you come find me at NSI, I would be happy. Number one, that means results came out... And then number two, that would mean we both made it!

Dan, I just found out my wife is prego too brother. 2nd child though. Congrats! I'm with you on the ulcer-factor. Don't know what your calendar planning is like, but we are due in June. Figure with a successful sta-21 select, just be getting out of NSI and moving at the due date. Great planning right?? If not selected, transferring in July to San Diego from DC, so a cross country move with a 1 month old doesn't sound any more exciting. Good luck, brother.
Thanks and congrats as well!

We're due in early May and would have to move from Hawaii to the east coast (even more awesome, it gets better...). And if I don't make it this year I'll be reapplying but I'm set to deploy next June for 6 months. Kind of a catch 22 for me but STA-21 selection is by far the best option. Sounds like we're in very similar situations.

I'd like to jump in here and say congrats to you both too. My wife is due in May (10 weeks along right now) and after 4 years of marriage it's pretty exciting to move into this stage of things. I'm hoping to be somewhere permanent by May if I am selected.. I'm in a C school right now in SD, and have shore duty orders to Fallon, Nevada that i'll be carrying out if non-selected. I'm really hoping I don't have to go there.. Crazy times for us.. Best of luck to you both.

I have a theory; I think that if we started a conversation about a very controversial subject we could entice some of the people who are stalking the site to join the "vocal minority." That being said...I really like abortion.... it is a great idea

Mine are planned(by deployments, not choice) and we are shooting for one more. I am going to have my own little fire team soon. I've been a CO for years, just not in the Navy.

Ya, I guess! Did we all just get off the same deployment or something?? :D

Well I'm in my 3rd year of shore duty, and we have been trying since we got here. Were almost ready to call it quits until we found out we were finally pregnant. Sometimes God throws you a wrench at what might seem like the most inopportune time at the moment, but is a learning experience and makes you stronger in the long run. Let's hope that equivilates to a selection for the fathers to be...eh?

You've got that right! More mouths to feed is a good enough reason as any!
