well after not getting ahold of my recruiiter last week and a long weekend of beer and waiting, I finally decided to call me processor this morning. Waiting was worth it. I got pro-rec'd SNA!

I look forward to paying off my "under" beer debt in Newport. Thanks to everyone here for providing valuable information throughout the application process.

Stats were:
8/8/8/63
3.35 GPA, BS Health Sciences from JMU

If you didn't get selected don't give up! This was my second time going through a selection board. Perseverance is the key.

Cheers!

Yeah, I was rolled from the December boards all the way to March. My recruiter called me last Thursday and told me my package wasn't even looked at yet. I have been unable to get a hold of him since then.

BTW I am working with a recruiter in Milwaukee,WI.

so you're saying that you were rolled over from DEC and now you are getting rolled over again? geez.

what is so special about this 'board'....a monkey could draw names out of a hat!
(no offense to those selected, everyone that has posted looks very competitive)

I spoke with Joe Moore on Thursday and there were no Supply results as of that date. I work with an officer recruiter and he said he would let me know as soon as he saw the results. I was hoping to see someone on here posting that they were pro rec'd on here so that I could bug Mr. Moore again.

I am been searching for some definitive gouge on my question, but I have found none. I see that many of you have included "interviews" with high ranking officers as part of your package. Is this another form of a LOR? Or is this something prior-service applicants need to complete?

Another question: Has anyone included a congressional endorsement with their package? I was skimming some threads earlier today and came across this a few times. I was just curious if anyone has any experience/information on how one would go about doing this.

Thanks everyone. Good luck on your PRORECS.

Its required by priors but not for non-priors. But it is allowed, i believe that it really helped with my application. It just shows that you go above and beyond, and how much you really want it.

Ok, good to know. I was going to submit my package this month but my 3rd LOR didn't come in time. Maybe that was a good thing because I think I will try and include an interview with one of my father's buddies from the firestation (Navy commander).

Could you elaborate on what the usual format is for these interviews? It sounds pretty straightforward: meet up, ask various questions about the life of Navy officer, his or her experiences in the Navy, record his/her answers, and submit it to your OR.

Thanks for the info bud.

Definitely going to include this if i'm not prorecd this time and i have to resubmit.

If anyone else on this thread did an interview, could I shamelessly request some of the questions you used and the format you turned in to your OR?
