The entire Harbor is currently decorated like this. Took a liberty boat ride around last night to check things out. The Key West has a giant santa-homer chasing a donut off the aft of the sail.

The most creative thing i've seen from the surface side of the waterfront is some lights from the mast to the fantail :sleep_125:sleep_125

Oh, and the Key West blares christmas music all night too :)

The yards are pumping out the virginia classes so quickly not that they're debating whether or not its even worth the time and money to refuel/overhaul the LA classes as they rotate into the yards. Nice to see something come in early and under budget for a change.

Edit: Mods feel free to delete if you feel this violates OPSEC, but I don't believe it does.

Nice! USS Parche, special project boat decommed and replaced by the Jimmy Carter. Had a few friends from my fast attack days on Parche. She was also in the yards at PSNS while by boat was going through DMP. We used to walk by her dock to see her skirt hiding her secret belly. :)

Jimmy Carter info.....

decommed and replaced by the Jimmy Carter.

Replaced is probably not the right term. She can never be replaced. 11 Presidentail Unit Citations, 12 Navy Unit Citations, 20 something expeditionary medals and more Battle E's than can fit on a ribbon.
