Another reason to use TurboTax. My wife overpaid Social Security tax by $789.....cha-ching! Refund increase. Moral of the story is there is possibly money lurking where you would not expect it to.

Send me the money....tell the IRS that I am responsible for the taxes on your rebate (why would they tax you and tax money they are rebating.....its a REBATE)

WRT tax brackets....you want to be in a higher tax bracket....that means you earned more money which means you can paint your white picket fence a lighter shade of white, buy more Jimmy Choo shoes, and get mroe pedicures.....gentlemen, handle your finances.

Seriously? Jimmy Choos....I would NEVER spend that much money on a stupid pair of shoes....I'd rather get Bella wood floors.

Ooohh Bella Wood! That's like boasting about getting an outfit at Sears.

Hang on... I didn't file this year (paid under the table, construction for my dad) I filed last year while working at Home Depot, should I expect any $$ coming my way (please say yes. It sucks being a poor college student)

My bottom line:

If you don't pay taxes ... you don't get a tax "rebate". I'm TIRED of my money supporting others ...

Get a life. Get a better job. Get a job ... ???

Uh, negative. Those are nice floors! REALLY nice! Totally not Sears.

At 2.99 per sq/ft, Bella is definitely the low-rent alternative to wood floors. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. ;)

No way, was at Lumber Liquidators and it was way more than that. Maybe I got the name wrong. It was NOT $2.99, trust me.

Why don't you two take your discussion abotu the finer points of flooring somewhere else?

P.S. Brett, what have you sunk too?

Sunk to? Me schooling a yapping Yenta is certainly nothing new. If anything I'm being gentle. :D Plus, how people choose to spend their rebate is certainly topical here. While some are satisfied with more pedestrian purchases, I on the other hand, suggest people get their money's worth. :D
