Lets talk Transformers....

Soundwave carries on

Haven't seen the movie ... was pretty upset Soundwave wasn't going to be in it.

For those of you who are fans - turns out he's doing ok still - Soundwave

Haha I saw that a few days ago...funny stuff.

There supposedly are two more movies coming out
so there's still hope for Soundwave to make an appearance.
Everyone seems to be upset that they didn't see him
so the uproar may cause the director(s)
to include him in the upcoming movies.

From what I read on Wikipedia there has been talk about sound wave making an appearance in the sequel.

One of the biggest reasons that Soundwave was not seen, and Megatron had a massive redesign is that the director and producer did not want the Transformers having massive differences in mass between robot and vehicle/object modes.

You know, Soundwave turning from an 8-ton 20' tall robot into a tape deck.

Or Megatron turning from a pistol into a huge freaking robot.

That gun was sweet...Starscream was the one who shot it if I'm not mistaken.

I'm hoping to see Megatron bite it and revamp as Galvatron. :D

I have to say, I did like that about the movie. I was originally upset when Optimus was going to be a Peterbuilt, but when I heard the reasoning behind it I was able to deal with it.

The success of this movie has Greenlit a live action "Voltron" movie.

Im holding out for a live action Robotech movie.

Voltron was always the read headed step-child of transformers, and Go-Bots never had anything with much substance.

Just saw it on the "IMAX" screen at Channelside in Tampa. Not sure what is better, Transformers on the IMAX screen or 3D women at Mons Venus. Anyone ???

I think many on this thread would opt for the former. Sadly.
