As an Academy grad, I have to throw in my two cents worth. On any given weekend, I bet the Naval Academy looked better in our rear view mirrors than your colleges did in yours!!!
Maybe, but we saw our schools in the rearview mirror on week nights too! :D

That's your opinion and your certainly entitled to it. :)
I guarantee you big Navy thinks the same thing. Oh, and the contraction, "you are" is spelled this way: you're. Have you been skipping English classes?? Hmmmmm?

... I hate to point this out but he was using your as a possessive, as it is the opinion you own...not as a pronoun which would have used the contraction of you are or you're thus leftie you're incorrect

And while you may have the opinion that being the skipper of a destroyer may be more prestigous...its not about the glory... it's quality of life (not that I have evidence either way yet, besides a month on a DDG vs. a month at an HSL squadron, thanks ROTC)... plus flying is WAY cooler!

Now I know I haven't "seen the real world" or anything like that, but am I the only one who thinks correcting people's grammar over the internet, except possibly in cases where the meaning is truly compromised, is retarded?

Grammar and colleges aside...the real news is that an Admiral is up for a historically Marine/Army position. Lots of head scratching and postulating on that one from some pretty well read people.
