just because they don't have a frat policy in the air force doesn't mean that ours no longer applies.

Wait a minute... The Air Farce does not have a frat policy??!? What the heck are they thinking?

I'm dumbfounded by these guys every time I have to deal with them... which thankfully has not been often up till now. Excuse me while I prepare to be dazzled by some more shining displays of genius (sp?) from our "corporate" brethren.

*edit* FlyMarines beat me to it. Answered by brett as well.

They don't have a fraternization policy in the Air Force? Seriously?

They don't enforce it. Not anything like we do, anyway. Remember Kelly Flynn? She was sleeping with a married sergeant and the thing that finnaly got her booted was for not following an order to stop doing it. Even that part was more about the adultry than the fraternization.

I can tell you from very recent experience (as a witness, not perpetrator) that the Corps will crush officers who do this very, very quickly. No warnings. No slack.

Actually, she was sleeping with a civilian employee who was married to a USAF sergeant.

If you really want to drive your Democrat friends nuts, ask them why Billy Boy "adultery is none of your business!" Clinton didn't pardon Lt Flinn...

I don't remember all the details, but I do remember that she was banging a sergeant at some point. Perhaps in addition to the other guy. She made a big deal of saying that he wasn't in her direct COC. Nobody in the air force seemed to care much about the fact that she was banging a sergeant.

I could look up the whole story and details, but I am far too lazy at the moment.

Thou dost protest too much, oh ye Harrier Dude. :D

Seriously, that shiznit doesn't go over well in the Navy either. There was this guy up in Whidbey who would mysteriously volunteer for Wing CDO all the time (basically SDO who has to stay on base in the BOQ to be the Wing duty rep). Well, as it turned out, he was banging one of the Airmen in his squadron right in the BOQ. The genius got caught as he was seen dropping off said Airman at the BEQ in the morning enroute to the hangar. Nice work. I think he went to Admiral's mast and decided to lawyer up and fight the charges (bad move). I can't remember how the charges were disposed of, but they basically threw the book at him.

@ NavyVance: That fvcking rules! :D

How is this for an example of AF gayness.

A Marine Corps LtCol lands at an unnamed AF base at 1805 local, but the "combat money-grubbin civilian transient alert dogs" won't park him because their work day ends at 1800. SO THEY GO HOME. Ground can't (won't) give taxi clearance because they are afraid of the civilian contract (launch and recover ALL transient a/c).

Meanwhile, this particular devil dog sits on the taxiway with the engine turning for 45 minutes within sight of the parking ramp. The final solution was to call a transient alert guy at home, and have him come in to drive the follow me truck 150 feet. This was the same guy that left at 1810, but now he was getting double time plus a $500 call-back fee.

The moral, the AF is so gay, they love it when their own contractors give it to them in the @$$ without a respectable reach-around.
