01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

For my ISPP folks, I reached out to a CPO that handles some board questions (Mr. Celestin gave me her contact info when I submitted my package) to make sure my package made it to this board and she got back to me yesterday saying my package is still under review at the ongoing board!

Upon arriving to OCS you go through something called NAMI. pretty much MEPS on crack. I’m honestly worried about this myself. But if you have alarming medical concerns it probably will come up at Nami unfortunately.

I got the same answer … it’s annoying because I’m deploying in November if not selected. So I’m trying to figure out if I’m going to ocs and PCS’ing to Pensacola after or if I’m getting the family ready for my deployment. Wish it would happen faster but we are on navy time lol.

Deployment money is already pretty good as E5/E6 enlisted… I am salivating thinking about it as an O2/3-E. I’m thinking we’ll hear within the next couple of weeks though.

I haven’t seen or heard of anyone getting denied as ISPP with a complete package unless I’m missing something. From what I understand we’re a shoe-in, but I’d definitely also like to be told the definite “yes”

Yeah that 03 pay will make deployments feel easier away from my wife and daughter. At least I know we will be financially in a much better situation lol. Also that officer retirement will be great later on in the future. My plan is to do 30 years right now lol. I’m at 11 now. I guess we will see how I’m feeling 10 years post commission haha.
