Hello comrades,

I have just recently registered on this forum and am not sure where to post my queries. I would like some pointers and tips about the ASTB/OAR. I am interested in pursuing the SWO route. If anyone has helpful recommendations and/or study guides, please reply to this post. Thank you.

same here. My package was submitted in mid August, and my recruiter assured me a few weeks ago that I'd be on the board... so if I'm not on that list at this point, I'd be quite shocked.

Yeah I mean - getting an email from Mr. Celestin saying that I’m up for the board has to be good enough.

It’s tough though - it’s like I WANT to trust the process but it’s so difficult.

OCS results don't get sent out via NAVADMIN since it is a NRC program and deals with civilians.

OCS programs are not like other programs, they are run by NRC not NPC so unlike programs run by NPC you won't see BOL updated until NRC is done with everything they need to do.

results would be posted after the selections are made, you can't have results with having selections lol

Man I'd freaking love to be waiting on flight school. I will put up with any delays and whatnot the Navy wants to throw at me. I just want to know that I have a future in this and don't need to desperately look elsewhere. I'd be so happy to sit in a stash job in Pensacola with my family for a bit.

You get paid the same check whether or not you’re in school so you can do much worse
