The statements aren't really looked at unless there is an issue with waiver or a person is on the edge, I would guess since he doesn't have any waiver issues it was just an "oops", it happens.

Not sure if it’s super relevant, but I’m being investigated right now, 5 months before the board I’m applying to. Is that just to save time in the scheme of things, or could it be because I have something that’s been flagged? I do have dual citizenship with Japan and a very extensive travel history, but that’s not relevant to the boards, right?

I don’t know when the investigation begins but I know I filled out NASIS back in September and that some of my former employers have been contacted and questioned about me.

So are you told if there is a problem with your background that they find before the board? Like the way I am reading your message is that you won’t get a Pro-REC No because of failing the security check…

I filled mine out recently right after taking the ASTB. No idea when they actually look at it.

An NRD can submit for the investigation before the board but they really shouldn't, you don't gain much, we never did.

They should notify the NRD and kick it back, that is what happened with everyone I saw, and it dealt with naturalized applicants.

Right now I'm trying to get big and strong and convincing the USMC OSO that sending me to MEPS again would be royal waste of time... lol

Run program was written by a buddy of mine that does Ultras. If you're looking to build endurance and a good cardio base definitely try it out.
