COVID-19

Spekkio

He bowls overhand.
Even mild cases of COVID-19 may lead to loss of brain tissue, according to findings from a long-term study involving 782 volunteers.

Everything gets magnified because it's COVID-19. I'm sure if we looked hard enough, we could find instances of brain damage and other complications from all sorts of normally benign diseases.

I think this may be a factor in discussions, with those with prior infections.

It’s not March 2020. STFU with that bullshit

Note the date on the article.

And now NYC is essentially banning unvaxxed people from indoor businesses and venues. Right on cue, a new variant that essentially changes nothing other than upping the case count. Interesting that what started as a thinly-veiled attempt to oust a sitting President while boosting TV news ratings and making billions for big pharma (covid hysteria) has now literally turned into defining two different classes of people based off of medical status. Something like this used to be distinctly un-American, but now seems to be par for the course.

High fever is a known symptom of COVID. Stands to reason that some cases will involve high enough fever to cause brain injury. BFD. Could be any virus with fever.

In my state, average age of person without vax is 34. Keep in mind that people under 12 are not yet vaccinated, so the range of the set begins at 13. Avg age of person with vax is 48. 80% of people over 70 are vaccinated. So, it seems to me that people ARE logically assessing risk.

Separately, out of a population of 7.2 million, 34 "children" (under age 18) have died and been coded as a COVID death. That does not specify if they died with the virus or because of it. But every one of those 34 youngsters HAD a recognized co-morbidity. Not a single healthy person under 18 has died of COVID in my state of 7.2 million people. Yet, schools and teachers are crazy over masks and the government wants kids under 12 to be vaccinated. Not against vaccinating kids in general, just the idiotic allocation of resources.

@wink, please stop using logic and reasoning in your decision making and just do what you're told.

Any reservists out there not drilling this weekend?

So what's everyones thoughts on the high likelihood of a vaccine mandate for ALL service members, active or reserve?

My money is on 100%, especially if the Pfizer gets the formal approval in a week or two.

Oh, I know it will happen. I meant how do folks who haven't gotten it feel about being forced to get it
