Received my FINSEL, just awaiting orders now. I’m AD, and my OCS class date is 17OCT21. See you all out there! Was looking into it and it seems pretty much all of us will have extended OCS classes due to Christmas holiday break and a short break for Thanksgiving too. Should be able to take leave during that time to go home or have family visit. Not exactly sure, but always expect the worst right?

Handed in my paperwork for security clearance and updated my fingerprints this morning. I don't think I'll be receiving my FINSEL for NFO though because I'm still waiting on results from the Aug02 board for SNA.

Received my hard copy orders today. Things are moving quickly! First time in 9 years in the Navy that things are moving this quick lol

It also seems I was right about having an extended time in Rhode Island due to the holidays. Says the 17OCT21 OCS class is scheduled to graduate on 28JAN22. Total of approximately 106 days there, with 82 days being in OCS.

When were you due to rotate? My prd is February so I am just trying to get a glimpse of a possible timeline if selected

Oh, you’ll be good. I’m pretty sure the command can’t transfer you until you get results anyways. Even tho my PRD is that far out, I still have to reenlist another two years, till Jan 2025 before heading to OCS.

Thanks for the info, still had a hard time finding Kyle study guide. and is there a Barron’s book in specific?
