If you look at the dates from this board you will notice there are a few in May and the rest are August on, there is a reason for this, Nukes, the NUPOC's will start graduating college in May and they will go to OCS right away with the earliest the Jun 20 ROM for July 4 class up, it isn't unusual for the July and August classes to have a ton of NUPOC and CEC designators.
If they had spots for SWO in the Jun 20 ROM they most likely would have filled them just like they shoved people in the May 30th class. The other thing is just because there is a spot(s) doesn't mean it can be filled by anyone, it might only be able to be filled by Supply or Intel.

I got the call from my Recruiter today. Processors are specifically asking who has been vaccinated and trying to get some folks in June or July to fill out a full 100 person class.

Yeah, I was N on Intel. I’ve been annoying him regularly for it. Still nothing as of yesterday.

nukes they have always taken up lots of spots on July and August otherwise they sit around their homes getting paid as an E-6 or E-7, I only saw one person that was a NUPOC who graduated in May and was not in OCS by September and that was due to an injury, that person ended up being discharged due to the severity of the injury.

From the latest PA, enlisting is not necessarily the best route. Especially if SWO is your main goal. There is an opportunity cost to that enlistment, and a few more years as a civilian in a job showing leadership potential can help. And more education.

I hope to God. He replaced my original OR last month. I’ve been pestering him pretty constantly about ship dates. He says there’s nothing he can do and he has other people who are still waiting, but I’m not getting any younger and I want in ASAP.
Is this to say if you get vaccine, you don't need to do the 14 day quarantine? My recruiter says I gotta go 2 weeks prior to my ocs start date to quarantine.

There was a change last week. But fully vaccinated Sailors are exempt from ROMing at the moment.

Since they are hot filling seats with vaccinated people, I wonder if they will drop the requirement for all of us that are vaccinated by the summer.
