Let say sworn pledge happens. If every MIL member filed a statement that this goes against my religious beliefs, Biden and Harris would have deal with that. You can't discharge everybody.
When the US Gov't replaces traditional Religions in Godly Belief with sworn allegiance to the Religion of Gov't, standby by for heavy rolls. Remember the old ATKRON205 patch post Hook?

we had our squadron triad talk to the entire unit in small groups today about TF1. Ultimately for the wardroom it was a straightforward discussion that they won’t tolerate any discrimination or edgey jokes made about people’s race, creed, sex, preference, background etc and as O’s we shouldn’t tolerate it from our sailors. No new expectations, but we also talked about the noose and swastika found onboard different ships recently.

We did also have numerous racial sensitivity training seminars on deployment and those were well received as well. All in civvies and led by JOs. I didn’t have anything to say about my life experiences but I learned a lot about the racism and discrimination my peers have encountered in their childhood and active duty, and why the news at the time made them feel certain ways. It’s not “a new navy” but this is where things are headed and I don’t think it’s a bad thing depending on how it’s brought about.

The patch is obviously inappropriate and non-pc in this progressive, woke society we find ourselves in these days. The old(er) folks might find it a bit humorous and reminiscent of days gone by though. But, as I said, certainly not appropriate in Brett’s wardroom . . .
