Hey everyone, I have a class date of September

I know it's a long shot but if anyone would be willing to swap with me for a sooner date that would be great. I put a hardship waiver in but someone has to be willing to swap with me class dates.

Due to COVID and hurricane Laura and hurricane Delta (I live in southwest louisiana) - my employment situation is severely impacted.

Waiting until September could cause bankruptcy and I submitted a waiver but my OR said someone has to volunteer swap. I would be eternally grateful and even be willing to pay you a few hundred if possible.

Thanks all, and congrats! I'll see yall in the fleet regardless
Just wanna say best of luck I feel for you I live in Southeast Texas about an hour from Lake Charles I’ve been doing underwater engineering in the areas devastated by Laura and Delta since I moved here. Gators dolphins and sharks all over these dang rivers. Hold fast the city will rebuild. Until then stay positive, you’re about to fly out of there. maybe look for a FEMA contract project to tide you over.

After, also sent all those documents to Paul and still received another NPQ
Just pasting your previous posts for reference here...

"I currently have a waiver approved by NAMI for SNFO, however whenever I send in my documentation NRC does not accept it and sends me an NPQ. I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation occur and if there is an avenue I can explore to try to remedy the situation. Thank you

Aircrew and NFO are both class 2 physicals."

I'm no expert like @exNavyOffRec. But it sure looks like if NAMI has given you the waiver, you should be able to sit at the board. As to why NRC was kicking it back with an NPQ whenever you had a waiver and appropriate physical that is equal to NFO duties, I think that original NPQ from NRC is incorrect. Someone may have caught that error and said "No, they have a NAMI waiver", and pushed the application through...

It sure sounds like if you had a waiver for NFO you should have been seen by the board and no one notified you or your OR to the change from NPQ to PQ...?

I'd want to ask your OR two questions:
  1. Is the NFO selection legitimate,
  2. Am I currently PQ for NFO

I think if those two things are true I think you'd be good to go?

no one notified me, I am active duty and was working with a recruiter that is a friend and she called me a month ago and said basically sorry I tried all I can do and I can’t help you. So I dropped it at that. The situation is odd and everyone I talked to basically said what offrec said and that they defer to NAMI for the medical clearance and NAMI cleared me.
