No matter how hard you try, T-34's will never be that cool.....they're too much like a Toyota Tercel -- small, old, and usually beat up, but they get the job done.

Like the Mighty Buckeye.. It is (was) the Volkswagon of the sky... Ugly but reliable! Best 1800 hours of flight time, I've ever flown!

I was depressed when I left the T-2C for the C-2A. I loved flying the T-2C, easy to fly, big cockpict, old school. The C-2A, old school, not easy to fly, slow, handles like shit, etc. Hell, except for speed, makes the T-34C I fly now a blast.

^ SPADs ... love that big radial, love the mission, love the noise. If they hadn't been dying and the squadrons going away when I got my Wings, that would have been first choice.
