I weep for the Navy if they go this direction. Another uniform where the unfit can let their gut hang down with that tent shirt...and any skinny folks will actually look they are wearing a tent.

I don't think the Coast Guard version is all that terrible looking. The members of the Coast Guard I see in them always seem to look sharp.

Our Royal Navy friends still get working uniform right IMHO (this is worn by O's and E's alike)

Not quite, they have changed it to an all dark blue working uniform now. Somewhat similar to what the Coasties have but tucked in, which the Coasties started out doing before they changed it to untucked.



I still think the best option is to adopt the Coastie working uniform, all you would have to change is the insignia on the breast pocket.

Anytime one of my peers laments the loss of the one piece flight suit I laugh and point them to one of these uniform threads on Air Warriors. It's good to see we aren't the only ones going down uniform dead ends. Still LMAO at aquaflage.

Polling 18- to 23-year-olds about what uniforms they wanted is how we ended up in this NWU debacle to begin with.

Immediate regression to the uniform designs we wore in WWII would solve this problem immediately. Make them all fireproof and what not, but look the same.
