Immediate regression to the uniform designs we wore in WWII would solve this problem immediately. Make them all fireproof and what not, but look the same.

Can we just email CNO and ask him this? Seems like he approves other common sense ideas on the fly...

-Coastie blue BDUs for ashore and catch-all
-Blue aramid “float suits” or tan/blue pants plus jersey afloat
-Multicam for expeditionary units

Khakis/NSU and Blues/Whites for nicer occasions

What if I finish with “with all due respect?” That makes everything ok, right?

Do people even say it anywhere anymore and has it ever ended well? Its like a dead tongue language in military jargon. I only ever seen "with all due respect" used once in a serious context (O3 DH vs. O5 Afloat CO). The DH got delivered a headshot 1 of 1 MP at the O-5 earliest/soonest convenience (don't feel bad, the whole story was a clinic on lacking tact).
