No "playlist" here. In fact, I don't own a single iProduct.

If I listen to anything when I run, it is talk radio. Usually, though, I just listen to what is going on around me. (There are a lot of great trails near me, and listening to "nothing" is a welcome change from the "JP-5-to-Sound of Freedom" sounds I hear every day.)

Speaking of which, I'm lacing up the shoes right now...

Fleens? You're not Fleens!
I lived in India for a while so I've got some Bollywood dance hits on my running playlist, buuuut here are some other great running songs:

Electric Feel-MGMT
Enjoy the Silence-Depeche Mode
Like Flames-Berlin
Dancing With Myself-Billy Idol
Take Me Home Tonight-Eddie Money
I Can't Drive 55-Sammy Hagar
Pour Some Sugar On Me-Def Leppard
Crazy Bitch-Buckcherry
Here I Go Again-Whitesnake
An Honest Mistake-The Bravery

I've found country is a lot better to drive/lift to--stuff that doesn't require keeping an even cadence. However, if you're the type that can work out to country, Trace Adkins and Jo Dee Messina are great.

I think the music that motivates someone when they work out is as subjective as it gets. My tastes go from AC/DC to Springsteen to James Taylor. For that matter, on Saturday I spent an hour running to Jimmy Buffett (FYI, Jimmy holds an instrument, mulit-engine and sea ratings)

If the music gets you going, no matter what the type, go with it. Now, I've never considered talk radio, but, to each their own.

While I may never make it to your level of awesomeness, I've got some good news for you: Disney has made not one, but TWO sequels to your favorite workout tunes.

As for me, I'll just stick to what I know.

Anything with AC/DC, especially if their live stuff, it has so much more energy.

A lot of 80's metal, Metallica, Judas Priest, Maiden.

None of that hair metal stuff.

-Def Leppard
-Kings of Leon- their 2nd album, "Aha Shake Heartbreak"
