The more i think about her decision the more i count my blessing whether it was a blessing in disguise or not, everyone on here has elucidated what i couldn't see. She's either 100% with me and lets do this, or she's 99% and going to be a drag through the various stages of training, b/c it would definitely blow to have her on the back of my mind while the SI is screaming in front of my face, or at any other point. I'm honestly anxious for some p-cola hunting :tongue2_1 ....my advice to any other gents in the same predicament make sure she understands what she's getting into otherwise you might as well begin your mental recovery and detachment from here and move foward and begin preppin for OCS....

Trev...I had very similiar circumstances when I was a stud.... concentrate on A #1 right now bro, with a few extracurricular activities out to Seville when you get to P-cola.

GREAT attitude man. Nice to see you in better spirits. Put her out of your mind and toward the task at hand. I leave on monday for my cross-country trek to P-cola and until then, besides PT and relaxing, I am indulging in everything I won't see for three months. You should do the same. Drink some beer, eat some cake, take a good dump and get some last minute ass. You won't see any of em for a couple months.

At least that's my agenda this weekend.

Just think of it as your chance to trade up. When the next one comes along, you'll already be settled into the beginnings/middle of your career and she will know that the military is a part of your package. NOT THAT KIND OF PACKAGE. It's ok to be shaken, but don't dwell in it.

I just had to cut loose a GF who couldn't stand me PTing and doing my studies vs. time with her. She had every inclination against me getting stationed outside of Florida :irked_125. Oh sure, kill off my career before it even starts. She even started discussing marriage. I'm only 22, I want to travel, see the world, and live, not settle down before the adventure even starts. I told her straight out that it only gets worse once I leave for OCS and that it was over. Trev- Good riddance to bad rubbish. She was upset because you made a plan that she did not envision. She probably wanted you to be a whupped little man working in a cubicle so she can sit on her fat ass (it will be, soon after the wedding) at home, and eat bon-bon, then own your ass if you ever decide to leave, or if she thinks she can trade up..

GOOD GOD MAN! you are in San Diego, a veritable buffet of hot tail. Use it. Then when you get to API, partake of the bufffet of 18 year olds who will be throwing themseves at you at seville.

If you go to Corpus, nail all the hot hispanic chicks while they are ripe (the get overripe, so don't stay attached).

Your choices are:

1-Pine over her, and be a miserable SOB.

2-Stay with her (make up, whatever) and be miserable, as it will never get better, and she will probably just end up making a fat girl porno on you when you are "over there", and then get ALL your shit, and have to pay her to go away. Until one of you dies.

I'd take #3. I ended up with #2, and it SUCKS.

I was actually hinting at the fact that chicks w/ adam's apples were to be the ones to avoid of the two choices. Ive found that in my experience (although arguably, and I guess morally, wrong), it doesn't really matter if a girl has a rock or not...and in some instances makes it easier

To Trev..I know this is almost like beating a dead horse, but just be thankful she's gone now (after your last scream session w/ her), because no matter how old we all are, it's always too young to worry about women this way...so have your kicks and get your way for as long as you can...because there's always time to settle down, and now is definitely not the time to do it.
