BGO experiences?

You're right wink. But it isn't very difficult to know if your BGO is an alumni or not.

If s/he:

- has a diploma from a civilian school on his/her wall, and not one from the Academy
- has credentials posted that do not have United States Naval Academy in the timeline
- became an officer in his or her 30's
- thought OCS was a blast
- thought ROTC was a blast
- has never been in the military

means the BGO did not graduate from the USNA. Of course, s/he might have attended for a short time, but you can still find out for yourself by just simply asking!

Never said it was hard to tell if the BGO is an alum. I'm sure he will tell you. The point is that the Admissions people don't know if the BGO is a USNA grad because there is no place to identifiy yourself, as a BGO, on the kids application as an alum. As stated, the Admissions people probably just don't care about the BGOs past as long as they get the kid through the process and write a good interview appraisal.
