Wyoming is a good example of this. On the one hand, its government is pursuing dumb, plainly political legislation targeting EVs. On the other hand, its government is pushing back on a one-sized fits all approach to EVs. The focus on Yellowstone/Teton area is smart. That area probably holds 90% of the EVs in the state. Short commutes, attached garages, stereotypical wealthy progressives, makes it a rich environment for EVs.True. But I do think about places like Bozeman. It's 80 miles from anywhere, but pretty progressive and not a small town anymore. I haven't been there in a couple of years, so not sure what the current state of vehicles is, but there were charging stations going in in the city center.
