Question for everyone. Did you all submit your anthropometric measurements (1131/12) with your application? I just got back from our clinic in Iwakuni, Japan and they told me they are unable to perform the measurements and the nearest facility is Hawaii. FML.
You might be looking at the old checklist. Those are no longer required.

Yea the checklist itself does not have the 1131/12 anthropometric measurements as a requirement, but the 1420.1b manual still has it there. Hopefully they will not require it because our medical facility here is unable to do the measurements. I emailed Mr. Celestin for clarification. Thank you!

you wont need them to apply they will do them in Pensacola. I was the same deal since I'm in Atsugi.

How many times have you applied and what did you do from the last N until this board to change your application?
This was my second attempt at the board. First board was October of 2019 and I had a 2.95 GPA with a 51 5/7/5. I still was two semesters out from graduation and I’m going to be honest my motivational statement was lacking. Second attempt was here, I retook the ASTB and scored 52 6/8/6 had a much improved motivational statement I was doing well in classes and got my GPA up to a 2.99. I also picked up more volunteering opportunities and also some more responsibilities at my workplace becoming a supervisor and also a team captain for a team in a competitive hockey league. I also had better/ more qualified individuals write me letters of recommendations. One was a Ret. Navy CDR with 20 years flying p3s for the navy. I’ve flown with him before too and he thinks I’m a perfect fit for this thing and his letter reflects that. One was a board member for the Cleveland clinic, and another was the president of my old school. I’m genuinely confused as to what I’m doing wrong or what the board doesn’t like... I’ve never used drugs in my life, I’ve never even had alcohol... I’ve never been in legal trouble and I have no medical limitations with great eyesight... and now I just graduated with a 3.0 GPA and a marketing degree. If you would like to look over my moto statment to see what you think I would be more than happy to provide it. I seriously just have had a dream of flying for the navy since I’ve been a young kid and I can’t tell for the life of me what I’m doing wrong... I volunteered all through highschool was the captain of my highschool hockey team and was on varsity all four years I played in college and I’ve always tried my hardest in everything I do. I’ve talked to my recruiter about it and he doesn’t even seem to care. I’m switching recruiters and recruiting stations hopefully that will do something but I’m not sure what else to try... I genuinely don’t understand :(

The biggest thing from what I have seen is that you had a sub 3 GPA, still in college so it is reasonable they didn't want to take a chance you might tank your last term of college. Don't retake the ASTB unless you really want to and resubmit.

also they rarely look at LOR's or motivational statements as they don't have time.

Haven't been given a reason yet. I have a drug waiver but it must have been something on top of that, unless the waiver truly is worthless.
A waiver is just them allowing you to be seen by the board, I have seen it where almost no waivers were approved and then years ago the decision was made to allow most waivers and let the board decide, so now the board is the bad guy. It most likely was the drug use and it is unfortunate they just don't have the NRD's make the call on waivers, it keeps people wondering for many more months.

I’m rooting for you man. Switching recruiter might help with taking care of areas that might have slipped past your last one, especially if he didn’t seem to care. You seem to be right about there score-wise. When it does happen it’ll be even sweeter.

Yeah, it was made pretty clear to me that the waiver didn't guarantee anything and I see a lot of people not getting picked up with them online, but it didn't look like those people were getting DNRs so I was a bit surprised by that.
But it is weird they wait until the board to make the final decision. It was basically the first thing I mentioned to my recruiter and it's not like the facts changed throughout the process. Seems like there were plenty of opportunities to save everyone some time and effort.
