As an HT stud and soon-to-be winger I'd like to thank you for spearheading this effort. It's unfortunate that some feel comfortable dismissing such a historically-rich symbol of aviation. Once again, thank you.

I would, but I already have a uniform that looks pretty similar...

I would like to thank you as well for spearheading this effort. I finally saw the AWGs for the first time a couple of days ago - that is one sharp uniform!
I'm really hoping that they're saved from the scrap heap. As an aspiring Naval Aviator, it would be an incredible honor and privilege to wear the same uniform that many a Naval Aviator has worn - past, present, and hopefully future aviators as well!

Agreed.

And if they don't ... you ALL need to drop your letters and get out. What good is an organization with tradition as one of it's cornerstones that dumps it's traditions ... ??? They ARE called "Aviation" Greens, you know ...

The mere fact that this is even an issue makes me weep for the future of Naval Aviation ....

I believe so. Of course, the current core values came about when someone decided that the Navy and the USMC should have the same core values. We wouldn't change ours - so yours are ours now...
