Negative. India’s CV is a Kiev-class and does not possess catapults to shoot anything off of its flight deck. Also, it’s a piece of crap.

Good eye. We did an exercise with them following an Indian "port call." They did a bunch of low approaches to the boat and some combined US/India flyby passes.

This is what it looked like before the Russians retrofitted it, and sold it to India.

Apparently, India had its own “Fat Leonev” scandal which saw the ship’s purchase-and-refit costs go from ~$900M USD to $2.3B USD after the ink was signed... with a multi year delay on top of it. India’s top naval officer may have taken bribes while agreeing to the cost hikes. (All according to open sources.) Russian state owned shipyards reaped the extra money and prob spent it on the annexation of Crimea and adventures in Syria.
