Funny I haven't heard that liberal family from Fox Chapel who's stupid liberal daughter was killed blabbing this year. They always seem to get news time around here. Wah, wah. Another liberal killed. Too bad. And people say the news isn't left leaning. I never hear the National Guard's families on the news. At least they were just doing their job.

What took place at Kent State was not a protest, what took place was a Riot. The night of May 3 activists and extreamist groups that had over the previous month destroyed the Ohio University and Ohio State University campuses set fire to the ROTC building at Kent State. They then assulted Fire Fighters and Police officers attempting to respond to the fire. The morning of May 4 they threw rocks and debris at the National Guardsmen who were there to pacify the disturbance. They had far overstepped the bounds of the 1st amendment which states you are permitted to peacefully assemble and petition the government for a readdress of grievences, not set fire to buildings and assult public officials while disrupting general order and peace.


And if you really want to see insulting this year for May 4th they set up a little ghetto Arlington with the names of every servicemen that has been killed in Iraq and Afganistan as part of their Anti-Government rhetoric crap. So to them they dont support the troops because a memorial is ment to honor the fallen not to be used as a political tool. When you use a soldiers death as a political tool you are saying that it ment more then his life and service given and I dont know about the rest of you but I wouldnt want my name on some piece of white plywood in an attempt to get out your leftist/socialist/anarchist/anti-bush/anti-military message.

If that memorial is still up, you should put a sign out in front of it that says something along the lines of "These are the names of the servicemen who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect you and your freedom. Give thanks. God Bless America."
