Yesterday was Speedy Thursday with the 3861 [Moonwatch] manual winding cycling computer…mounted via the Omega [Moonwatch] black VELCRO® strap. Did a 2:21:10 group ride on my vintage 1989 Schwinn Waterford Paramount road racing bike…nobody [except for me] was impressed with the manual winding cycling computer [or the VELCRO® strap]…

Speedy Saturday? You know it. The 3861 [on the Omega mil green polyester NATO] was the watch of choice for the assigned mission of hauling the baby K-9 unit named Dunkin’ to [and from] the local K-9 park via Honda Monkey. Yes, the baby K-9 unit’s name is Dunkin’…and mrs. mad dog [not the mad dog action figure] assigned him that name…

You must be a wizard with the springbar tool with as often as you change bracelets/straps! Whats your secret? Or are they all NATOs that don't require spring-bar removal?

I guess this is a Speedy Monday (featuring one of my cats, Cozy). I bought a 3861 Speedmaster on the new bracelet over a month ago and really like it! Despite the hype over the new bracelet on the 3861, I wasn’t a fan of how it wears. Not too comfortable IMO. So I purchased an aftermarket 1450 President bracelet made specifically for the Speedmaster from Forstner online. Really love it. Super comfortable and with the new 3861 design updates, looks like a throwback! No complaints whatsoever other than I scratched the case a bit changing the bracelet ? ?.

Years of academy training with the spring bar tool. Also, I tape the lugs…just in case.
