Read the book AirWarriors and enjoyed it so much, thought for sure the author had a website up for it. Typed in airwarriors.com and found the best forum for getting the latest info instead.

This was even before the forum became the monster that it is today.

Yeah, it appears that over the last year the forum definitely has been picking up.

I found this site using google searching for information on the NFO program. I am a 30 year old MA1 reporting to OCS on December 7th and then on to the NFO pipeline. I appreciate all the information and experiences available here. They have calmed some of my worries about OCS and API. Keep the information flowing. Thanks

I was looking for information on Navy grooming standards but I thought I typed "Hairwarriors.com" Obviously, I misspelled it but I have enjoyed contributing to the forum. Semper, Frumby

I found this site through a link on the Jounal of a Naval Aviator website and was hooked as soon as I came across it. It is a very informative site that has answered many of my questions about flight school. The forum is great, everyone that posts on it is very professional unlike many of the other online military forums out there - I hope it stays that way. I'm glad to see that a USMC section was added, it was deffinitely needed. Thanks for the great site John and Steve.

I called the API office and asked for websites with information about API. This site has been so helpful; a lot more helpful than the San Diego recruiting office which has left me in the dark since they received my signature on the dotted line. Thank you for all the info.

I was just doing my daily search of porn on the 'net. When I typed P-3+YN+weenie+nude, John's site came up. Ain't the internet cool? :D

Hey, John, it's come a long way...congrats!

Hey John,
I forget where I heard about your site but it kicks ass. I feel almost spoiled compared to past generations as far as information is concerned. Today's applicants definitely know what we're getting into. Thanks!

Here's one suggestion: there seem to be a lot of posts along the lines of "Am I competitive?" or "How are my ASTB scores?"

How about creating some sort of page where everyone can list their statitistics and their stage in the application. Something like this:

JoeNavy -- OAR 35 Pilot 4 NFO 4 Runtime 12:00 Situps 50 Pushups 60 GPA 2.7 Major Biology Waiver? None AppStatus ACCEPTED

With something like this, all the future SNAs and SNFOs could see how they comapre to the rest of the country, at least on paper. Or, we could just simply start a thread where only those types of posts are allowed.

Anyway, thanks for the site. Regards,
-Greg
