UO Future Pork Chop
My recruiter told me this about my MIP: "Man, everybody's got an MIP, everybody's tried pot sometime."

lol...while not entirely true, as long as you're upfront about it, then I think you'll be fine.

As long as you show that you understand what you did was wrong and you will be more responsible in the future (i.e. no DUI's), despite being over 21, then you should be fine.

Who brings their wallet streaking and where do they keep it?

Semper Fi,
usmcecho4

I didn't bring my wallet, it was in the clothes pile that he found while looking for my naked ass. Anyway, here's the article, for those who are interested...

From the school newspaper...

(I edited out my real name)

SOPHOMORE STREAKER CAUGHT IN SOCKS
[Penderwt], 20, a sophomore, was charged with public indecency, underage consumption, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct
after an Oxford police officer witnessed him streaking down the 200 block of Bishop Street at 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 10.
The responding officer was helping a pedestrian on Bishop Street when he heard a male voice yelling, "I'm streaking."
The officer looked up to see [Penderwt] running towards him wearing nothing but a pair of socks. When the officer shined his flashlight at
[Penderwt] and told him to stop, [Penderwt] ran.
During a foot pursuit through several yards and fences, the OPD officer lost sight of [Penderwt]. In searching the area, he found a stack of clothing next to a house on Bishop Street - which did not contain socks.
The officer found a wallet in the pants' pocket containg [Penderwt]'s ID. After the officer had found the ID, [Penderwt] approached him and
turned himself in. He was dressed in a shirt and shorts which he claimed to have found on the front porch of a house where he had been
hiding.

To be fair, there are slight inaccuracies and embellishments in the story, but you get the basic idea. One inaccuracy that I found disappointing is that the officer quoted me as saying "I'm streaking," when in fact I was yelling something far more hilarious. Also, this "chase" wasn't really much of a chase at all, but rather me running back behind the house and in the back door, and the officer running aimlessly through the area until happening upon my pile of clothes.

Don't know if you care or not, but by posting the text of the article it was quite easy to find out your real name, and the school that you attended.

It might be that you'd want to delete that part if you can.

That being said, the only difference between you and almost every person that I was commissioned with was that you got caugth.

And yes I was Army, so our standards were lower anyway.:icon_boun

It's fine, I fully disclosed what I did to my OSO the very next day, so it's not like some huge secret I'm trying to hide. It was stupid, but it was 3 years ago, and I'm not all that embarrassed about it at this point. Hell, at least you know I had fun in college...Funny side note, a Texan running for congress dropped out of the election when a story of him getting busted for streaking surfaced. I think he could have spun it to appeal to the young voters, but that's just me.
