USN FY 26 IWC DCO Reserve Board

I think I've mentioned it in this thread before, but if not: there appear to be major changes happening in the IWC right now. I'm not surprised the board was pushed.

I am reapplying for a 3rd time. I went back to school to finish my masters degree and since completing school I look forward to trying again. I did very well on my interviews previously but am always looking to
Improve. The last time I applied was in Spring of 24 I believe. I just resubmitted all of my paperwork and am approaching 40. The last few times I had supervisors and assistant directors I previously worked for (government job) write my letters of recommendation. Does anyone recommend meeting with their congressman or senator to get a LOR? Thank you and best of luck to you all.

Nothing to lose by applying. This is my second try, but I finished my Master's end of last year. All my LORs are current or retired military of various ranks and branches. Maybe discuss with your recruiter?
 
For those who were picked up in recent years, I have a question about AT. If you have approved orders for AT and you are selected, do you still go to your AT or does dropping your enlisted billet drop your orders as well? My AT is in Hawaii... wouldn't mind still going.
