So guys, I'm a huge fan of Top Gun and i know there are many many others on the forum who share the same love of the movie. The question at hand is, how many times have you seen it, and whats ur favorite scene.

I'm gonna hafta say well over 30 times, and my favorite scene is when maverick is sulking in the shower room and jester comes in and says, "that was best piece of flying i've ever seen, right up until the part where you got killed, you never never leave your wingman."

heh heh...also, he never wears his cover in the movie (with his khakis), yet a Captain shows up in the elevator wearing his.

Well, isn't the movie's description and representation of the school flawed? Isn't the purpose of Top Gun to teach dogfighting skills and the like to crews who, on returning to their squadrons, will teach them to their fellow aviators? The movie portrays Top Gun as a finishing school for the best, designed to make them a sort of super-elite.

Here's for pathetic: probably more than 40 times, since I was 5. It was another seven years before I could watch it without my parents fast-forwarding through the sex scene, and even then my thought was, "Eww, they're, like kissing with their tongues."

And the video we had was taped from TV, so every time I put the DVD in, I'm surprised that the movie doesn't start with a Pepsi commercial.

Over 50 times atleast. I'm pretty sure I can almost quote the entire movie. What a loser I am...

"Alright, I'll hook 'em. Roger, and I'll clean 'em and fry 'em. HaHa!"

"I think admitting to watching it more than 20 times is just wrong. Not wrong, like incorrect wrong, but wrong, in the sense that if after "buzzing" the tower, Penny Benjamin and Maverick got together to see if he could "buzz" her like he did the tower, and then out of the blue, in walks Iceman naked, and asks Maverick if nows a good time to take him up on that "you can be my wingman anytime" offer...........that kind of wrong."........

now that's funny. this movie remake could be titled "Got Dun".....it would almost compare to "The League of Extraordinary Genitals" or "Missionary Impossible II".

DISCLAIMER: if these aforementioned movies actually exist, i haven't seen them. thank you.

"Pulp Friction," of course, and for military enthusiasts, "Blackc0ck Down" and "Band of Buggers".

I have this image of my father shaking his head and saying, "You are not a lady."
