Kind of surprised that Army or Navy isn't on this list. Might be because their respective administrations keep the cadets and mids from any and all interviews.

Can't speak for West Point, but we were encouraged to fill out the same survey these schools did. I'd say people like bitching and complaining about the Academy within our own circles, but in the end, people are generally satisfied with being there. I remember when I visited Coast Guard, they had old yearbooks in the visiting room and where the seniors could write their own little blurbs, they were very negative and so happy to "get out." I saw in Navy's Lucky Bags (our yearbooks) that there was obviously a few cynical undertones, but they also seemed to be filled with funny memories, inside jokes, etc. They were not nearly as negative as Coast Guard's.

Not to mention, Annapolis is a great town... and New London throughout the wintertime, well, it sucks... I'm sure.

I was surprised to see SUNY Albany - a couple years ago, Playboy didn't even rank it in their top party school lists because it said it deserved it's own category or something along those lines. In terms of academics and people being satisfied with those... that doesn't come as a surprise to me at all though regarding SUNY Albany.

I'm just disappointed to see the New Mexico Institute of Mining on there. I mean, when I think about excitement I think about mining.

If only The Basic School could have been surveyed...

Except for the systemic problems like bad administrative processes, it was all just a bunch of bitching by the survey participants.

Hey hey now, easy on us geologists! We're like little kids that play in the dirt with rocks all day, don't pick on us.:propeller

Remember, Geologists make the bedrock! (There are plenty of bodacious hot babes in the geology department here)

I was surprised to see SUNY Albany as well. Having gone to school in capitol region I can tell you SUNY Albany was the local party school (well, St Rose was pretty good too). Most definitely did not have the best academics in the world, but they know how to party. The girls also had some notoriety... Paulies hotel, right outside the school, best place to drink if underage.

I'm surprised that my school didn't make it on the list. I mean it is just an awful school filled with the most hideous looking girls I've seen.:(

If you've been to the campus of SUNY Albany, you'll wonder why is isn't higher on the list. I grew up in the area and there was no fucking way I was going to this school, I made sure of that.

The campus is right off of I-87, with zero places within walking distances, all the academic buildings form a rectangular formation in the middle of campus on top of a paved surface. There's 4 residential towers at each corner of the campus, with athletic fields lying on the outskirts. In terms of quality of life, I can see how this place is the fucking pits.

RPI huh? So you had like, what, 17 girls at your school? No wonder you thought SUNY Albany was cool. ;)

Hey, I'm sure you could find one hot chick at RPI. Now they are probably all following the hockey team, and if you weren't on the hockey team you probably wouldn't have even known what to do with her if you had the chance. ;)

.....I know a hot chick that went to RPI... :D
