Time Between OCC and TBS

I was wondering how quickly an OCS 187 graduate could begin TBS. I am sure this topic has been touched on before, but if you have 2 or 3 weeks off, do you go home or stay at Quantico? Is it possible to take a small vacation in that time period with family or do they keep close tabs on you? Thank you.

You will have time to go home. You check in to TBS your last week of OCC (M Co. TBS Lts. will come to OCS to check you in). Is 187 the Fall OCC? If so, you'll have three weeks of "basket leave."
