I did it on my first flight as an LT, which was also my crew's last flight before POM leave. Although the only other O I've seen empty it was our outgoing skipper on his last flight. They did the whole taxi through the fire hoses bit and everyone doused him with water as he walked off the plane, and he just kept walking, honeypot in hand.

Practice boarding team members insertion on bridge wing of huge container ship off of SF coast. This ship, even though it was HUGE, was rocking like a cork in a bathtub!

I believe you! I've been around the world (and around the 'Horn), and the wildest seas I've ever experienced were ln winter, west of the Farallons within 30-40 miles of SF.

That's what I'm thinking since there isn't the normal "streaking" (settle down) from a long exposure shot. Regardless, it's a sweet pic.

That would make sense. It's a beautiful shot but you see some blur on the radars. That's going to be inherent in any HDR pics, though.

BTW, I just looked at the EXIF data on that previous photo. It reports a f2.8 4 second exposure. I am pretty sure any HDR photo will get rid of all the EXIF data.

That's a good point. It was late and I didn't bother to look up the data last night. Sure seems like it's brighter than a 4 second exposure with no streaking (or whatever that's called), but the moon has been retardedly bright this last week.
