He did, and blamed it on the LSO the rest of his days, this was not the only a/c that did not survive his career, it was different back then.

Some neat footage of Polish helos working in Afghanistan.

Best watched in HD-
Interesting that the Hinds run on their take-offs and landings while the HiPs land like normal helos.

Cool shots of the H-60 in form with a Hind as well. Who would have ever thought we'd see a Hind escort an H-60?

I like the fact that the Hind actually passes into translational lift with the mains off the deck and the nose wheel on the deck. I can't fathom a reason for doing it other than, it looks pretty cool on the video...
