Nice to see the C-2 with glass and "stupid question", why didn't he go to full power after the trap:


The props operate at 100% rpm so you don't have to unlike a jet. You have instantaneous power and torque.

Here's another stupid question...in the HC/HSC world, we alternate seats all the time to build proficiency and don't "upgrade" from one seat to the other. How about in side to side tailhook cockpits? Cool vid, by the way...

You fly in both seats just like helos, but only land from the left

That always surprised me but I guess it makes sense with the boat. We fly and land from both seats and part of our upgrading syllabus involves landing emergencies from the right seat.
